1. WAKING LIFE comes to Kickstarter TOMORROW. A modern-day sequel to Little Nemo in Slumberland, this graphic novel set is on the way from @comickerdigital to fire up your imagination. Mark those calendars; I’m looking forward to sharing this with you all!

One reason to check out my WAKING LIFE graphic novels? Big impact pages like these— I tried to make them count. (I thought this one especially did a good job evoking the classic Winsor McCay feel from Little Nemo— just with more monsters!)

Volumes one and two are coming to Kickstarter next week from @comickerdigital. Excited to share this all-ages adventure tale with you in a fresh way!

  5. Managed to get in a few sketch warm-ups over the past few days. Going with the recognizable (1), as well as an original (2)!

  6. Folks. Fate has conspired in such a way that I have stories in TWO different anthologies that are currently funding on @kickstarter.

CRITICAL MASS Vol. 1 features my short thriller about a man whose past catches up with him in an unexpected way– just when he thinks he’s free from its consequences. It’s Rear Window meets Promising Young Woman, and it’s a big swing for me.

Meanwhile, CTHULHU INVADES NEVERLAND re-teams me with writer Stonie Williams for an Eldritch Mermaid story– one that’s become a cautionary tale for the Jolly Roger’s crew!

Both stories are suspenseful, thrilling, and maybe even a little funny— and they are both part of wonderful anthologies with even more stories to love. I encourage you to check them out on Kickstarter – links below – and get ready to enjoy some new reads!

  8. We’ve got Turtles on the brain in my house, so here’s a Donnie sketch. (I couldn’t bring myself to do glasses or goggles; I’m too stuck in the old school!)

Here’s hoping that Mutant Mayhem is as awesome as the trailers suggest!

Anyone up for a coloring critique? 🤞

I’m getting ready to wrap this Norse horror story, and I’m trying to decide if an electric palette works for or against the vibe. Comments welcome!
